Career Opportunity
We are actively seeking a qualified Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who will join our collaborative engineering team as we work collectively to enhance the user experience and bring new features to fruition for our caregivers. As QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Cariloop’s applications. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, drive resolution, and maintain product excellence. While initially focusing on manual testing in this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and introduce automation frameworks over time.

Your Role
As a QA Engineer at Cariloop, you will:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated tests to guarantee comprehensive test coverage.
Conduct functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.
Identify, report, and track issues and anomalies within the application
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams as well as offshore colleagues or contractors.
Actively participate in our agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and increment planning.
Continuously review, Identify, and recommend opportunities to improve the QA framework.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle in an agile/scrum environment
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience setting up manual/automation/regression test scenarios
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with programming languages such as Javascript, Python, or C#
Experience with test automation frameworks like Playwright or Cypress

This position is performed primarily on a remote basis; however, the employee may be required to travel occasionally to fulfill business needs. Such travel may include, but is not limited to, on-site meetings, company retreats, training sessions, or other business-related events. The frequency and duration of travel will vary based on operational needs, and the employee will be provided reasonable notice whenever possible.
The ability to travel as needed is a condition of employment, and all travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the company’s travel and expense policy.
