About the Position  

This is the perfect opportunity for a Veterinarian to be part of a team working in a family-like atmosphere. As a part-time DVM, you will maintain schedule flexibility working 20 or more hours per week. Ideally, this candidate will have surgical skills and a desire to make a difference in a community whose mission is to consistently provide authentic care by compassionately serving as a unified team in harmony with our clients.

Lee: Your Gateway to Beautiful Living 

Just west of the Capital City of Albany lays a quaint town named Lee, MA. This town provides a serene and quiet living location outside the other bustling cities in the area. Many people from Lee enjoy the New England countryside while driving along the Berkshire Scenic Byway. The rolling hills and picturesque landscapes are bound to catch everyone’s eyes. Many people also enjoy hiking and afterwards dining in at family-owned and run businesses including restaurants and diners. Due to the size of this village many people point out the community atmosphere of this town and the friendliness that comes with that. Pay Range: $60,000-$80,000 base annually. Exact salary will dependent on the position, location, and experience.

• Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
• Treat and dress wounds
• Perform surgery on animals
• Test for and vaccinate against diseases
• Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
• Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
• Prescribe medication
• Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
• Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
• Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
• Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
• Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
• Strong fondness and understanding of animals
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of animal behavior
• Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
