What You'll Be Doing

  • Preps all food for the patient and cafeteria menus/meals along with the first cook.
  • Dices, Chops and Utilizing Recipes on file.
  • Pans meat for roasting.
  • Monitors tray line and cafeteria replenishment.
  • Observes department safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Sets up food supplies and utensils for daily preparation.
  • May complete the duties of the cooks helper when needed.
  • May be assigned to catering activities including preparation set up and delivery of food.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma 
  • Experience: 1 Year Institutional food Service experience as a cook Completion of a culinary certificate program preferred.
