3rd Shift Warehouse Supervisor

Location: SPA Inc. – Milford, OH

SPA, a TRG company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to support our Milford, OH facility. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for all aspects of the receiving, shipping and inventory control within the facility.

3rd shift hours are from 8pm-6:30am Monday through Thursday.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Unload shipments for various shippers and modes of transportation.
  • Manage all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, storing, shipping, and cycle counting.
  • Communicate to Inbound/Inventory Control Manager any unscheduled loads prior to unloading any loads which become more than an hour late per dock schedule and any loads which are unsafe, unstable (pallets falling over, etc.)
  • Tally all items for each load, filling out OS&D (over, short and damage) form for any outages and scanning all paperwork to the necessary contacts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and other tracking systems
  • Label each carton or pallet as necessary and receive product into inventory.
  • Assist with put away of received items using powered industrial equipment (forklift, reach truck)
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all warehouse activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the entire warehouse, not just the Shipping area.
  • Maintains a safe work environment by properly training the full-time and flex staffing in the warehouse areas.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy for receiving locations in company WMS.
  • Complete all inbound receipt paperwork.
  • Complete inventory transfers.
  • Maintain and communicate through email.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.

 

SPA REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to operate electric forklift, stock picker and reach truck preferred.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. Team lift over that weight.
  • Previous warehouse and/or quality inspection experience.
  • Experience using computer/scanner/printers.
  • General email skills
