ABOUT THE TEAM

Tide launched its first insurance products to market in 2025 in the UK and India. Insurance is a core SME need, and Tide is uniquely positioned to offer tailored and comprehensive cover to our members.

Our Insurance team is relatively new and we are rapidly hiring to fill business-critical roles and build a world-class offering for our members.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Lead Product Manager, you’ll shape the vision and roadmap for our insurance products, drive innovation and scale across markets. This is a high-ownership role that blends strategic thinking, execution excellence, and cross-functional leadership. You’ll work closely with teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, and Compliance to create a world-class insurance experience that meets the evolving needs of business owners globally.

You’ll be working alongside experienced product professionals and hand-in-hand with senior developers, data scientists, designers, and marketers to launch new insurance products to market and continuously improve the performance and customer experience of our existing product suite.

We're looking for someone with the ability to influence at the leadership level, lead multiple initiatives in parallel and who is comfortable in rolling up their sleeves. If you enjoy a high-autonomy, high-impact environment, where you’re expected to drive the agenda and not just respond to it—we’d love to hear from you.

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Own the vision and roadmap for key product domains within Insurance, driving innovation and global scale in collaboration with the Director of Product and leadership team.

  • Lead the team through discovery, design, delivery and iteration of new product development,  ensuring your products deliver tangible user value and measurable business outcomes.

  • Design globally scalable solutions, balancing market nuances and regulatory complexity across Tide’s key markets.

  • Champion cross-functional excellence by partnering with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and R&C to ship impactful, high-quality experiences.

  • Lead discovery and experimentation, combining qualitative insights and quantitative data to identify opportunities, test hypotheses, and shape the product direction.

  • Communicate with influence; clearly articulating strategy, priorities, and progress to senior stakeholders, inspiring alignment and confidence across the organisation.

  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring member needs remain central to every decision, while advocating for simplicity, transparency, trust and regulatory compliance.

  • Lead by example: you will be hands-on, take ownership of business metrics and product KPIs and play a pivotal role in bringing all stakeholders on board.

  • Continuously improve processes and practices within the product area to enable effective delivery by the teams.

You’ll be a great fit if:

This role is for you if you’re a seasoned product professional with a deep understanding of user-first product development, a hypothesis and data-driven mindset, and a passion for iterative discovery and delivery.

  • You have 10+ years of experience in product management, with hands-on involvement throughout the full product development lifecycle, particularly in iterative product discovery and delivery.

  • You have experience of the insurance market and launching products globally (ideally UK, India, Germany, France).

  • You are both strategic and execution-focused, with a proven ability to drive product improvements and deliver measurable results.

  • You enjoy hands-on product management and are excited to contribute to a team that’s scaling, bringing your expertise to build great products.

  • You naturally spot opportunities for improvement in processes, tools, or team workflows and can drive impactful changes with agility.

  • You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and can break down greenfield areas into clear steps, milestones, and actionable plans while remaining flexible to adapt as needed.

  • You are an excellent communicator, able to tailor your messaging to resonate across all levels, including senior leadership, and you are a compelling storyteller in both written and spoken English.

  • You are outcome-driven, focused on creating value for both users and the business, and can confidently pivot strategies to maintain alignment with goals.

  • You are passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences, paying close attention to UX details and ensuring end-to-end solutions meet diverse consumer needs.

  • You are analytical and data-driven with a strong KPI focus; well versed in conversion metrics and quantitative and qualitative data.

  • You excel in product discovery, confidently driving validation and iteration within both the problem and solution space.

  • You have experience working on platform or foundational products, and you understand how to scale products across teams, organisations and markets.

What you’ll get in return:

  • Self & Family Health Insurance

  • Term & Life Insurance

  • OPD Benefits

  • Mental wellbeing through Plumm

  • Learning & Development Budget

  • WFH Setup allowance
