Responsibilities 

•  Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose pain conditions.
•  Develop individualised treatment plans based on patient needs.
•  Prescribe and manage pain medications responsibly.
•  Perform interventional procedures such as nerve blocks and injections.
•  Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
•  Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
•  Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies.
•  Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
•  Stay updated on the latest advancements in pain management.
•  Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements 

•  Medical degree from an accredited institution.
•  Specialisation degree in Pain medicine/Board certification in Pain Medicine or Anesthesia specialisation with Pain medicine -fellowship or subspecialty
•  Valid medical licence to practice.
•  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pain management.
•  Strong knowledge of pain mechanisms and pharmacology.
•  Proficiency in performing interventional pain procedures.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
•  Commitment to ongoing professional development.
