About this role
We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to join a leading hospital in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing diseases of the digestive system, including performing advanced endoscopic procedures. The role requires both outpatient and inpatient care, working closely with a multidisciplinary medical team.
Gastroenterologist Duties and Responsibilities
- Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns.
- Consulting with a patient's primary doctor.
- Analysing patient’s historical data.
- Performing specialised tests to diagnose patients.
- Determining proper courses of treatment.
- Performing endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs.
- Performing X-Ray, MRI and ultrasound scanning.
- Performing surgery in the digestive tract.
- Consulting with other specialists, such as oncologists, in the case of cancer.
Gastroenterologist Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
- Requires Medical degree and specialization degree in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of a three-year work experience in this stream.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
- Proficiency with X-Rays, MRIs and ultrasound scanning.
