About this role

Summary

Responsible to coordinate control, supervise a group of Tech Specialist and Technicians to repair of Production Machinery other activities include analyzing, problem and identification training, project involvement, spare parts controlling and preventive maintenance procedures.

Job Description

  • To assist Section Manager in carrying out machine modification, improvement project and evaluation of all projects.
  • Responsible for the shift machine breakdown and performance.
  • Responsible for Machine Shop activities and Plant technical drawing system.
  • To coordinate with the production department for the machine utilization and production output.
  •  Conduct regular meetings with subordinates to establish good communication and relationship.
  •  Responsible for the daily machine maintenance and machine lubrication.
  •  Responsible for completeness and GMP compliances of all daily checklists carried out by his subordinates.
  •  Responsible for safety in the workplace and safety of direct report staff.
  •  Responsible for monitoring and evaluating direct reports for compliance to workplace safety and environment policy.
  • To perform other duties of similar type of works on assigned.
  •  Emphasize company environment health and safety rules and regulations to employees and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that all accidents & near miss are reported to management and injured  are given proper treatment.
  •  Investigate all accident & near miss and make necessary reports and recommendations.
  • Take disciplinary action on any safety violation in consultation with safety officer and or Human Resource Manager.
  • Responsible for cost and budget control.
  • Responsible project improvement for Engineering site.
  • Establish Preventive Maintenance plan for weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually and Corrective Maintenance plan.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from a large manufacturing environment (rubber, polymers, chemical industry background preferred)
  • Experience in Gloves or Condom industry advantageous
  • Computer literacy
  • Well organized, team player and ability to coordinate cross functionally
  • Strong leadership, good communication and problem solving skills
  • Native Thai and professional English (verbal and written) skill is required for the role
