About this role

HealthPartners is hiring a Patient Access Associate Project Coordinator. The person in this position coordinates and supports Patient Access projects; including developing and monitoring project plans. This position maintains project documents, timelines, and ensures the appropriate meetings and tasks occur per a defined project plan. This person is responsible for managing key project deliverables and may assist with project analysis to identify project goals, metrics, and baselines.
 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provides support to Patient Access team and coordinates tasks to achieve deliverables.
  • Creates and compiles documentation for project related meetings; 
  • Produces project plans, status reporting, and project metrics.
  • Reports and investigates variances between planned and actual project performance.
  • May manage key project deliverables including build, design and training of Care Connection 
  • Analyzes project data, dependencies, trends, and resources.
  • Facilitates Requests for Information process from Epic’s EMR team
  • Participates in simple issue-resolution analytics 
  • Researches and compiles information on requested topics. 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong desktop tool usage including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of project management software tools (Clarity, Microsoft Project)
  • Demonstrated established partnerships internally and externally
  • Expertise interpreting across technical topics to business needs
  • Ability to manage high degree of change and be flexible

  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare operations or technical support
  3. Demonstrated Electronic Medical Records experience, preferably Epic systems. 
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
  6. Demonstrated data analysis, data presentation and problem solving skills.
  7. Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
