About this role

Regions Hospital has a great opportunity to join our nursing team as a RN Case Manager in Mental Health to work with an incredible team of people who have a passion for caring for others! 

This position will provide inpatient care coordination services for Mental Health patients to facilitate optimal patient outcomes, support the delivery of effective and efficient care, improve continuity of care and efficient use of resources throughout the episode of care.  The case/program manager will collaborate with the Care Team including but not limited to: Attending/Specialty Physician(s), Social Work, Payors, Utilization Review, and Nursing to ensure that an effective and timely treatment plan is acted upon, an appropriate discharge plan is implemented with the smooth transitions in levels of care. This position will mine and analyze clinical and/or operational data and develop reporting that is critical to operational leadership at the site and organizational level to assure effective program delivery and process improvement. This role will also perform related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: 0.60 Day shifts. May include occasional weekends.

Required Qualifications: 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years clinical experience in case management or mental health setting; experience in project management or discharge planning, and/or quality improvement preferred.

  • Masters degree in mental health field or expected graduation within one year, PLUS 1-3 years direct experience in case/program management.
