YOUR ROLE

As a R2R Junior Manager you will be expected to operate at the level of Subject Matter Expert for the client specific application of the client processes. You will be part of the processes, with the main focus on very complex transactions and resolving complex issues, as well as ensuring that the processes and controls are executed as agreed. You will be expected to be aware of the business context for the analyzed data, draw insights and make relevant recommendations to deliver valuable outcomes to the client. In addition, you will be expected to drive process improvement through technology related tools within the given area of expertise.

YOUR TASKS

• GL Accountant responsibility
• Guardian of month close for the country (having overall oversight on the country books)
• Communicate through agreed governance with Tax advisor/coorporate in order to translate of GAAP changes into BPO processes and operations (identification of process changes operationalization handled by Accounting SPOC)
• Analyse and Identify balances and movements to be explained and coordinate within BPO to clarify and correct if relevant
• Act as Audit contact

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ Years of experience in working within accounting or finance function (financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting)
• Experience in overseeing financial activities of LE, country etc.
• Deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS and ability to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements
• Experienced in providing guidance and recommendations to the team of GL accountants
• Thinking strategically and able to contribute to long – term financial planning
• Fluent level of French and English
