
As a Packet Core / IMS Expert, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of Packet Core or IMS network elements, ensuring high-quality deployment, integration, testing, migration and software lifecycle management in accordance with approved designs and customer requirements.
You will work closely with delivery, care, TPM and customer teams to guarantee stable service delivery, successful handovers and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver Packet Core / IMS technical solutions according to approved LLD.
Generate and validate Instantiation Templates, MOPs and data fill sheets.
Perform onboarding, deployment, integration and configuration of network nodes.
Execute System and Functional ATP test cases, ensuring proper documentation and artifacts.
Troubleshoot issues during deployment, integration, ATP and migration, coordinating with Care, TPM and customer teams.
Open and manage trouble tickets through internal tools such as JIRA and Salesforce.
Support Packet Core / IMS service migrations and delivery-to-care handover.
Perform feature activation testing.
Prepare and execute software upgrade activities, including lab testing, golden MOP preparation and production upgrades.
Provide 4-eye support and post-upgrade support, working closely with Care / 4LS teams during incidents.
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned.
Provide L2 support, where explicitly agreed per project.
Contribute to node certification development in coordination with KMCD.
Proven experience as a Packet Core or IMS Expert / Specialist in telecom network delivery environments.
Hands-on experience in deployment, integration, testing, migration and upgrade of Packet Core or IMS nodes.
Strong understanding of LLD-driven delivery, MOP execution and ATP processes.
Experience working with care, operations and customer teams in live network environments.
Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure during critical activities.
Familiarity with internal delivery processes and ticketing tools (e.g. JIRA, Salesforce).
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in multicultural, cross-functional teams.
