Your Role
Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect in Knutsford for a full-time hybrid role.
- Design and implement largescale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency scalability and observability
- Define cloudnative strategies and architectures for enterprise applications
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions - Create technical design specifications reference architectures and reusable patterns
- Drive adoption of DevOps practices CICD pipelines and automation across teams
- Lead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standardslifecycle
Your Profile
Core Responsibilities:
- Cloud Platforms AWS IaaS PaaS Serverless Containers EKS Docker Kubernetes
Databases Strong expertise in PostgreSQL plus experience with NoSQL DynamoDB DocumentDB - Infrastructure as Code Handson experience with Terraform GitLab CICD
Microservices Containers Deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and containerized solutions - DevOps Tools Jenkins GitLab and integration with various CICD tools
- Application Design APIfirst and eventdriven architectures and prior handson experience with Kafka ecosystem
- Observability Monitoring Familiarity with tools for logging metrics and tracing specially ELK and observe tools
Soft Skills MustHave: - Excellent written and verbal communication for simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Ability to articulate technical solutions to business leaders and influence decisionmaking
- Proven experience working with global distributed teams in enterprise environments
Additional Requirements - Knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA Confluence for project tracking and documentation
- Ability to own and drive projects endtoend in an Agile environment
Good to Have - Familiarity with ecosystem and platforms for faster onboarding
- Understanding of financial services domain especially credit cards
- Knowledge of TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate preferred
