About this role

  1. Practices according to entity mandatory requirements.      
  2. Practices according to department expectations.     
  3. Practices with a Customer Service approach to all activities.
  4. Utilizes internal and external resources appropriately.
  5. Documents according to entity/department guidelines.
  6. Utilizes techniques of time management effectively.
  7. Sets up, adjusts and operates medical equipment and instruments.           
  8. Performs testing ordered by patient’s physician.     
  9. Addresses age-specific needs of  infants, toddlers, school age, adolescents, adults, older adults.
  10. Performs ultrasound procedures and follows exam protocols.        
  11. Utilizes and maintains equipment in expert manner.           
  12. Performs administrative and other tasks as requested.       
  13. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Associate's degree (A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or certificate program.
  • Abdom/OB, or Echo RDMS, or eligible for registration, required.
  • Current BLS.
