About this role

 

  1. Displays courtesy and professionalism at all times while providing timely, helpful services to all patients, visitors, physicians, and associates.
  2. Must be courteous to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  3. Does minor room clean ups pre & post procedures.  
  4. Track patient exams and charge for supplies in Syngo Radiology.
  5. Review patient status in PICIS (E.R. tracking system).
  6. Scan all exam related paperwork into Stentor (PACS) (ie:  Radiology and Bone Densitometry).
  7. Access scheduling module to look up future patients, or history of previous exams.
  8. Transport patients.  
  9. Answer telephones and communicate between other departments and radiologists.
  10. Stock oral contrast in Radiology PICIS and ER PICIS. 
  11. Assist technologists transferring patients on and off radiology tables.
  12. Order supplies for all imaging departments.
  13. Enter radiology exams in Soarian Clinicals after patients have been registered.
  14. Generates CD’s and prints reports.   
  15. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.  
  • Ability to use and learn basic level computer systems and to generate reports.
  • BLS required.
