1. The Manager of Donor Relations serves as the liaison between Lightkeepers and Cape Cod Healthcare and its affiliated health care providers.
2. Serves as the Foundation’s representative during all Lightkeepers-related emergencies, as well as general health inquiries and referral requests by Lightkeepers.
3. Provides communication to Foundation staff on all liaison activity, as well as updating and maintaining donor records with activities and services provided.
4. In partnership with the Major Gift Officer (“MGO”) staff, conducts Lightkeepers orientation with new donors, including completion of signed HIPAA forms and delivery of Lightkeepers cards.
5. In partnership with the MGO staff, develops and implements personalized stewardship and cultivation opportunities for Lightkeepers (i.e. hospital tours, meetings with executive leaders and medical staff, birthday/anniversary acknowledgements, renewal process, etc.).
6. In partnership with the MGO staff, assists in advancing the giving level of current Lightkeepers, including participating in donor solicitation visits, where appropriate.
7. Responsible for developing and fostering positive personal relationships with key clinical staff.
8. Position requires Donor Relations Manager to cover Lightkeepers Hotline 24 hours per day while on duty.
9. Rotating schedule includes nights and weekends.
10. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers.
11. Challenges current working practices; identifies process improvement opportunities and presents recommendations and solutions to management. Engages and commits to the organization’s culture of continuous improvement by actively participating, supporting, and promoting CCHC Pillars of Excellence.
12. Other duties as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with fundraising and development preferred.
• Experience with hospital and clinical settings strongly desired. Able to handle numerous projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills.
• Experience with Blackbaud Raisers Edge fundraising software preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications
