About the Role


We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CWB Certified Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welds in accordance with CWB standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.



Responsibilities



  • Perform welding tasks in accordance with CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
  • Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core as applicable)
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines



Qualifications


  • Valid CWB welding certification (specify process if required)
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
