Position Summary: 

The SEM Manager oversees the execution and performance of Camping World’s SEM program and team. This role leads a team of coordinators and/or specialists to drive traffic, awareness, engagement, and conversions. The manager ensures that all projects/campaigns are cohesive, on-brand, and deliver measurable results for both national and local dealership marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and manage the overall SEM strategy.

  • Lead and mentor a team of coordinators and senior/specialists, leading weekly circle-up meetings, monitoring weekly optimization calls, and making adjustments to overall team functions as needed.

  • Oversee project/campaign planning, budgeting, spend pacing, and performance tracking.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure integration across all marketing efforts.

  • Create and monitor analytics dashboards, identify insights, and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.

  • Ensure consistent messaging, creative standards, and brand voice across digital touchpoints.

  • Stay informed of digital trends, new platforms, and emerging technologies to keep Camping World’s marketing efforts innovative.

 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in SEM, including leadership or team management experience.

  • Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-channel digital campaigns/projects.

  • Strong understanding of analytics, attribution, and marketing automation tools.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Specifications: 

  • Develop, execute, and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns across SEM (paid search), Shopping, Display, and Programmatic channels to drive lead generation performance.

  • Lead multi-channel media planning and campaign management using platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, Campaign Manager, Google Merchant Center, and Google Analytics 360.

  • Fluent in both tCPA and tROAS bid optimizations executed through Google Ads, Bing Ads, and SA360.

  • Have a strong understanding of ad platform tracking mechanisms to ensure campaign optimizations are accurate.

  • Analyze campaign data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights through comprehensive reporting and visualization tools for key business stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous innovation by testing new ad formats, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and emerging technologies.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Good Sam, Retail, Sales, and Analytics, to align digital strategies with business goals.

  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering professional growth and skill development.

  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new platforms or partners to expand digital marketing capabilities.

  • Ensure quality assurance, budget adherence, and timely delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Stay current on industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.

Pay Range:

$131,145.00-$191,205.00 Annual
