How you will make history here...

As a Senior Commercialization Manager at Campbell's, you will be at the forefront of our product development and commercialization efforts. You will own highly complex projects, focused on improvement and high-impact initiatives within your category, and be responsible for coaching and guiding cross-functional teams throughout their development. Your role will involve project management of 1-3 critical Big Bet projects, leading Category Portfolio Management Reviews (PMRs), Gate reviews, and prioritization processes. You will also manage CPLs, Senior CPLs, and/or Category Commercialization Managers, driving strategic thinking across our portfolio and contributing to the development of our strategic plans for Supply Chain and Business.

What you will do...

  • Project Ownership: Take ownership of highly complex projects, focus on improvement and high-impact initiatives within your category, and coach cross-functional teams for development.
  • Leadership: Lead Category Portfolio Reviews (CPRs), Gate reviews, and prioritization processes to ensure projects align with business goals and timelines.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of CPLs, Senior CPLs, and/or Category Commercialization Managers, providing guidance and support to achieve project success.
  • Strategic Thinking: Drive strategic thinking across the portfolio, making decisions on trade-offs and challenging the status quo to optimize outcomes.
  • Strategic Plan Contribution: Contribute to the development of strategic plans for Supply Chain and Business, leveraging your expertise in commercialization.
  • Interdependency Mitigation: Identify and drive mitigation strategies for interdependencies and conflicts between projects, ensuring smooth project execution and meeting Category goals.
  • Commercialization Expertise: Act as the commercialization expert within your category, utilizing proficient/advanced business and financial acumen to drive commercialization trade-offs and CPR discussions, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
  • Experience: Bring over 7 years of project management experience to the table, complemented by some experience in CGP manufacturing.

What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (PMP and/or MBA preferred)
  • 7+ years of project management/commercialization experience, with some experience in CPG manufacturing
  • Detailed knowledge of innovation tools and processes, Stage Gate, Campbell's Commercialization process or similar early stage iterative development process
  • Proficient/advanced business and financial acumen

It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)

  • MBA and/or PMP
  • 8.5+ years of project management/commercialization experience, with some experience in CPG manufacturing

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$135,100-$194,200

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
