Position Summary

Loads trucks according to load charts; processes receiving paperwork.

Essential Functions

• Load trucks accurately within prescribed timelines, as per load charts

• Must be able to read load charts and bill of lading

• Completes paperwork timely and accurately, including Bill of Lading (BOL) Sales Orders and Pre-load Inspection forms

• Performs product consolidations and BIN transfers, using forklift when required

• Operates stand-up forklift in safe manner; completes forklift inspections and check-sheets before using forklift

• Performs scheduled and impromptu inventory cycle counts

• Follows all Company rules, including, but not limited to: SOPs, GMPs, Safety, PPE, and all rules prescribed by the USDA and FDA

• Performs other related duties and special assignments as required or assigned by Supervisor

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Basic math skills required; must be able to read, write, and speak English

• Requires 6 months of material handling in a warehouse environment; previous inventory control experience desirable (SAP, etc)

• Must be able to drive a stand-up forklift and be certified as a forklift driver

• Bilingual a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Will be required to work in freezer environment for long periods of time

• Must be able to travel throughout Production areas and stand for long periods of time

• Must be able to push, pull, and lift heavy loads (75 lbs.)

• Must be able to work flexible hours based upon needs of operation

Documentation and Procedures

The following procedures will be performed:

1. Safety Rules and GMPs in area

2. Product Quality Standards

3. Production Personal Protective Equipment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $18.55/hr

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
