POSITION OVERVIEW
The Kitchen Manager will manage proprietary food preparation and sales in the Minuteman Food Marts and Minuteman Kitchens. This position will engage with all foodservice related activities and report directly to the Store Leader. This position will ensure guest experience, product preparation and inventory performance expectations are met. A detailed Job Description will be available when you begin employment. WORK SCHEDULE
Flexible hours between the hours of 5am – 4pm. Full time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner and coaches team members to do the same.
Maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties. Assigns shift duties to team members and follows up to ensure completion.
Directs team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with all Brand, Company, and health department regulations.
Coaches team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management.
Ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met.
Ensures all food costs and food waste numbers are in line with company goals.
Monitors and ensures accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records for the duration of the shift. Completes end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts as required.
Communicates any discrepancies to store leader.
Guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes.
Maintain a neat and clean appearance in the store, kitchen, and dining areas.
Ensure the cooler, store shelves and displays are clean, fully stocker and fronted.
Notify Store Leader of any maintenance problems.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a people first mentality; “Fast Friendly Service with a Smile”.

Excellent time management
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Previous retail and food experience.
At least 6 months experience leading a team in a C Store or food service environment.
