POSITION OVERVIEW
The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for leading the company’s financial reporting, performance analysis, and budgeting processes. This role partners closely with operations and senior leadership to deliver actionable insights, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic decision-making. The position requires strong analytical capability, technical proficiency, and people leadership.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & COMPETENCIES
Lead monthly financial reporting and performance deliverables, ensuring accurate and timely management reports, dashboards, and executive insights.
Competencies: financial reporting accuracy, data integrity, executive communication, attention to detail.
Own variance analysis and financial diagnostics, identifying drivers of performance and providing clear recommendations to business leaders.
Competencies: analytical reasoning, root-cause analysis, problem solving, commercial acumen.
Direct the annual budget, forecast updates, and long-range planning cycles, coordinating inputs, validating assumptions, and delivering an integrated financial plan.
Competencies: strategic planning, project management, cross-functional leadership, scenario modeling.
Partner with operations leadership to evaluate business performance, support operational initiatives, and connect operational KPIs to financial outcomes.
Competencies: business partnership, influencing skills, operational literacy, stakeholder engagement.
Drive technical excellence in analytics, including development of models, automation, and reporting tools using advanced Excel, BI platforms, and financial systems.
Competencies: technical proficiency (Excel/BI/ERP), process automation, data visualization, systems thinking.
Manage and develop a team of financial analysts, ensuring strong analytical quality, clear priorities, and professional development.
Competencies: people leadership, coaching, delegation, performance management.

QualificationsEDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
5+ years experience of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A or related discipline
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and business intelligence/reporting tools.
Experience working with operational teams and supporting decision-making.
Prior experience managing or mentoring analysts preferred.
Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
