Job DetailsJob Location: Camco Plant - FLORENCE, KY 41042-3010Job Shift: 1st ShiftThe Operator – Packing will run production lines to support the plant's production needs. This role involves setting up and operating equipment, supervising assigned personnel, and ensuring all packaging meets company and customer specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sets up and operates production processes and equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Supervises assigned personnel to Blend, Fill, secures, and labels containers, etc. according to company and/or customer specifications.
Verifies goods packaged against Job Production Orders and instructions and records data as needed.
May make adjustments to equipment as needed.
Reads and interprets Production Orders and instructions.

SKILLS AND PROFICIENCIES:

Requires competent English skills in the spoken word and in reading comprehension.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Must be willing to get Forklift certified.
Works under supervision.

 
Qualifications 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stand on feet 8 hours a day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in a uncontrolled temperature environment.
