Senior Software Engineer

<p><em>Cambio Software is a software research and development center for Cambio Healthcare Systems AB, Sweden, currently with over 300 software engineering professionals in Sri Lanka designing and developing cutting edge Healthcare Solutions using state of the art of technologies to cater to our prestigious clientele</em>.<br><br><strong>The Position </strong></p><p>As a full stack senior software engineer, you will be working in an agile team with experienced developers, a scrum master and QAs where knowledge sharing is part of the daily work. You will also work closely with architects, product owners and other stakeholders of the team. For us, it is important that you should have the opportunity to grow, both as a person and as an employee. </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with team to define, design, and ship new features and maintain existing product</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Research and introduce new tools and libraries to improve current development practices.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Having experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Minimum 2 years of experience</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular with type scripting</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong understanding of back-end technologies such as Java</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Hands-on experience in DBMS and SQL.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Mindset of maintaining code quality by aligning static code analysis tools such as SonarQube.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and practices (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Jasmin, Karma)</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with RESTful APIs</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Knowledge of code versioning tool Git</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and deployment processes</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience in build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment</p></li></ul><p><strong>It’s a bonus if you have</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience with the Spring Boot framework</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with databases such as Timeseries or Relational database</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with Kubernetes</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with managing ETL processes for data integration</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with profiling tools such as JProfiler, Yourkit.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot)</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Scope: </strong>Full Time</p><p><strong>Type of Employment: </strong>Permanent</p>
