Overview:Calspan is seeking a temporary IT support technician (student, intern, or entry-level candidate) to assist with the rollout of Windows 11 across approximately 500 machines. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced technical environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Install Windows 11 on designated machines following provided instructions
- Complete approximately 5 installations per day
- Maintain installation logs and report progress
- Reinstall engineering software as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
- Ability to follow technical instructions accurately
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Availability for weekday work (flexible hours possible)
- Must be located near Buffalo, NY or St. Paul, MN
Preferred:
- IT or Computer Science student
- Previous experience with OS installation or tech support
