To further this mission, Callen-Lorde promotes health education and wellness, and advocates for LGBTQ+ health issues.    About the Role: Callen-Lorde is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our integrated team. As an LPN you will play a crucial role in assisting primary care providers, including physicians and mid-level providers, in delivering top-notch patient care. Your responsibilities will include providing general nursing care, assisting with triage, offering patient services, and providing clinical support.    Key Responsibilities:   As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your responsibilities will include: Assist primary care providers in delivering patient care services. Provide general nursing care under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Assist with triage procedures and patient assessments. Offer patient services with empathy and professionalism. Provide clinical support in various healthcare settings. Always ensure confidentiality of patient information. Collaborate effectively with other members of the Nursing team.   Work Schedule:  This full-time position requires three opening shifts (8am-5pm) and two evening shifts (12pm-9pm) per week, along with a rotating Saturday shift from 9am to 3pm once per month.   Benefits:  Salary will be based on experience and will be accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package including an exceptional low cost medical plan option for you, your spouse/domestic partner and/or your family, dental insurance, vision insurance, no cost life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Tuition Assistance, commuter benefits, a generous paid time off plan, and a 403B retirement savings plan. Qualifications New York State LPN License Current CPR certification Strong Computer Competency Two years experience in an out-patient clinical setting preferred Desired Characteristics, Skills Commitment to the mission of Callen-Lorde Commitment to community-based primary care Ability to work within a team-based structure
