Quality Assurance Analyst

About this role
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and execute quality standards:
- Permanent on-site control quality output of fabric and materials suppliers through fabric inspections for sample and bulk orders base on given quality requirements.
- Work with his/her supervisor to liaise with Headquarter for risk assessment, ensure appropriate corrective actions plan in place for production execution.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply to the company standards.
- Support his/her supervisor for making quality decisions.
- Constant alignment and communication with his/her supervisor on workmanship and quality requirements.
Reporting on quality performance and projects:
- Liaise with his/her supervisor and Headquarter for quality inspection report - documentation and maintenance.
- Liaise with his/her supervisor and Headquarter, monitor vendors/factories’ performance through analysis of statistical data. Work out corrective action plan for immediate improvement.
- Support his/her supervisor for quality projects.
Plus, any other requirements as directed by Management
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Proficiency in fabric production processes
- Good knowledge on technical outdoor, sport and golf wear fabric and materials
- Excellent experience on fabric inspection and 4 points system
- Strong negotiation, analytical and reporting skills.
- Good command of English both in written and spoken. Japanese speaking will be a benefit.
- Good organizational skills.
- High degree of flexibility
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Diploma in textile studies.
