Job Summary

Responsible for following and maintaining internal equipment requests for diagnostic tooling by installing software and configuring computer hardware. Support company operations with tooling related technical assistance to internal teammates.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Procurement/ordering- Tools, software and equipment as directed
  • Satisfy equipment requests as per company processes
  • Build diagnostic tooling as per configuration outlines 
  • Software installations and computer configurations
  • Diagnose, troubleshooting, repair, and/or replace equipment as needed
  • Software update implementation & dissemination
  • Test equipment and warranty and repair as needed
  • Ensure quick and effective response times to resolve requests
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • 2 years of experience providing technical support
  • Knowledge of Aftermarket and OE diagnostic scan tools and factory software
  • Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
  • Must be proficient in OEM ideology from all the automobile manufactures
  • Must become proficient in OEM software from all the automobile manufactures
  • Understand vehicle communication protocol
  • Understand OEM passthrough devices and applications
  • Understand aftermarket concepts and applications
  • Understanding of automotive technology & best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision

Requirements:

  • Experience in automotive technology preferred
  • High level of confidentiality, may require signed Non-Disclosure Agreements
  • Ability to pass a background check & MVR
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Required to wear protective safety equipment
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Extended and/or weekend hours maybe be required
