Team Member Dining Room Cook II – Harrah’s Laughlin
The Team Member Dining Room Cook II plays a key role in fueling our workforce by preparing high‑quality meals with consistency, care, and efficiency. If you take pride in your craft, thrive in a fast‑paced kitchen, and enjoy supporting a team‑focused environment, this position is an excellent fit. As part of the Caesars Entertainment family, you’ll deliver our signature Family Style Service behind the scenes—ensuring our team members are well‑fed and ready to serve our guests.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook all menu items according to company recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
- Follow proper timing and cooking sequences to meet service hours and quality expectations
- Perform core cooking techniques including frying, broiling, steaming, sautéing, oven work, and prep production
- Plate and dish up food for daily service and large‑scale functions
- Use kitchen tools and equipment effectively including knives, slicers, choppers, mixers, steamers, and braziers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of your assigned station and work area
- Assist fellow kitchen staff as needed to support smooth operations
- Store and handle food properly following safety and quality guidelines
- Complete prep work to support the next shift
- Transport food and supplies to various workstations as required
- Organize coolers and dry storage to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
- Exhibit Family Style Service at all times
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provide direction to kitchen employees and oversee task completion
- Act as Supervisor when needed to support kitchen leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Three to six months of cooking experience in a similar food outlet, hotel, or casino environment
- Knowledge of company policies including fire and safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math proficiency including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
- Ability to interpret basic charts or graphs
- No computer skills required
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
- Current Health Card
- Liquor License or other required certifications depending on property requirements
