About This Role

                                                                                                         

The Project Planner & Scheduler is a key role in the project management office, responsible for building, managing and maintaining project schedules and plans, including managing performance against the project plan and creating essential reporting for management briefings.

This role will coordinate with Project Control Officers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Program Managers and other key internal and external stakeholders, such as customers, subcontractors, etc.

The role we are offering you

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, detailing scope, accurate logic, key milestones, critical paths within all deadlines for all phases of projects you work on
  • Manage multiple timeline and project priorities
  • Coordinate and plan resource requirements, including long lead time items to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Work closely with Project/Program Managers to ensure that all team members are aligned with the program and that tasks are planned, assigned and completed on time.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Proven experience in project scheduling and planning
  • Strong proficiency in scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, etc
  • Defence industry is desirable
  • Experience with integrating project management tools such as JIRA, Monday, or similar

Location:

  • Homebush, NSW

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
