As strategic, creative and agile partners and storytellers, the Public Affairs and Global Communications team develops, implements, and executes internal and external communications strategies that proactively contribute to the company’ success, engage and connect employees, strengthen the reputation of CAE and its brand and propel our tech evolution.  

Please note this is a temporary contract

The role we are offering you: 

 

Working hand in hand with our business units and corporate functions, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and support different projects, both internal and external. Are you ready to: 

 

  • Participate in the development and implementation of internal communications campaigns, strategies, programs, and corporate events.  

  • Develop and support various company-wide communication channels and vehicles (newsletters, presentations, blogs, etc). 

  • Develop concepts and write content for a wide range of communications tools. 

  • Provide strategic communications counsel to internal customers for their employee communications and external communications. 

  • Support Communications Advisors in the implementation of company-wide communication channels and vehicles, online and offline. 

  • Complete other tasks, as required. 

 

Our ideal candidate has:  

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing Communications, event coordination or related discipline. 

  • 1-3 years’ experience in corporate or marketing communications. 

  • Bilingual in French and in English with excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills. 

  • Experience in communications planning and project management.  

  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects, with rigour and meet strict deadlines.  

  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and self-discipline. 

  • Ability to show initiative and creativity. 

  • Good initiative and sound judgement.
