Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic partner in the company's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function. This role leads complex financial forecasting, budgeting, and modeling initiatives while delivering strategic insights that drive executive-level business decisions. The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced analytical expertise, business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.
Sr. Financial Analyst Required Skills and Education:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Expert-level analytical and quantitative skills with proven ability to synthesize complex data into strategic insights.
· Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting methodologies, variance analysis, and valuation techniques.
· Strong business acumen with understanding of key business drivers and financial performance metrics.
· Mastery of Excel (advanced functions, macros, Power Query) and PowerPoint; proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or Tableau preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex financial information to executive audiences.
· Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners at all organizational levels.
· Strategic mindset with ability to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
· Strong leadership presence and ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
· Excellent organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
· Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
Education or equivalency:
· Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
Experience:
· Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in financial analysis, accounting or related field.
· Prefer experience in corporate financial planning and analysis or business analysis.
