About this role

At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.

The ideal candidate will have a superconducting background and a basic level of understanding of the

devices required to enable superconducting quantum (varied type of transmons qubits a minimum).

Ideally, the candidate will have some previous exposure to Qiskit and understand the set of primitive

and how they are parameterized and generated.

The expected end-product of the internship is a Virtuoso-based QDK, that enable creating representative

(as complete as possible) set of physical qubits, control lines, and coupling. Previous exposure to development

in the Virtuoso environment a real plus.

Together, we will define the “virtual” process for this QDK, the list of devices and their characteristics.

Job based in San Jose, onsite, full time. Minimum 3 months.
