Join our dynamic team as an Application Engineer and be at the forefront of transforming our system security evaluation and authorization processes. This role is pivotal in shifting from manual operations to a cutting-edge model that leverages automation, streamlined processes, continuous monitoring, and comprehensive network data gathering. Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute Python Lambda, Pig, and PySpark analytics.

  • Review data ingest tickets and collaborate with team members on merge requests.

  • Ensure the delivery of reliable and accurate data to end users.

  • Support successful day-to-day operations, including investigating data accuracy within the system.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

  • Strong background in analytics development.

  • Proficiency in Python.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED: Minimum 12 years of experience in a related technical field.

  • Associate’s Degree: Minimum 10 years of experience in a related technical field.

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum 8 years of experience in a related technical field.

  • Master’s Degree: Minimum 6 years of experience in a related technical field.

  • Doctorate’s Degree: Minimum 4 years of experience in a related technical field.

    • All diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institution

Desired:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing software patches and tracking IAVA (Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts) to ensure system security and compliance.

  • Proficiency in using PIG for data analysis and processing large datasets, enhancing data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong skills in PySpark for efficient big data processing and analytics, allowing for scalable and performant data solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda to develop and deploy serverless applications, improving operational efficiency and reducing infrastructure management.

  • Proven track record of working in an Agile environment, contributing to iterative development, continuous improvement, and collaborative team efforts.

  • Expertise in System Authorization, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Vulnerability Management, and Nessus Vulnerability Scanner. Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks to protect organizational assets.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,800 - $218,100
