As an Ad Planning & Promotions Specialist, you support the development, data compilation, proofing, and communication of promotional events, advertisements, and marketing initiatives for independent retailer customers. The role’s daily responsibilities encompass tasks that ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables. This role reports to the Manager of Ad Planning and Promotions.

Job Description

  • Full-Time, Hybrid Role

  • Location: Miami, FL

You will contribute by:

  • Developing, coordinating, and communicating promotional programs for assigned areas in both print and digital formats.

  • Guiding ad designers in the development of promotional marketing programs.

  • Reviewing promotional communications to ensure accuracy of layout/design, copy, pricing, and other details.

  • Supporting the proofing process.

  • Supporting the Ad Planning & Promotions Manager in the overall promotional and ad planning process.

  • Communicating merchandising strategies and promotional plans with independent customers.

  • Participating in the implementation of display programs, as applicable.

  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with independent customers in the creation of promotional ads and supporting promotional reports.

  • Reviewing and processing retailer advertising bills for inclusion on retailer invoices.

  • Following up and ensuring the timely resolution of issues, as necessary.

  • Completing additional responsibilities as assigned.

We’re searching for candidates with:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in advertising, marketing, promotions, or sales.

  • Wholesale and/or retail experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience, training, or knowledge in lieu of a degree.

  • Proven communication skills and the ability to work within cross-functional initiatives.

  • Working knowledge of marketing and promotions, including key strategies across ad, digital, and print channels.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to influence across teams.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
