As a Mobile Software Engineer III at C.H. Robinson, you will help create exceptional mobile experiences for our carrier partners. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional product teams, using your expertise to make a real impact on carriers around the world. As a key member of the Carrier Experience team, you will play an important role in improving the end‑to‑end carrier journey. Within the Mobile branch of Carrier Experiences, you will be directly involved in building and enhancing a world‑class mobile experience designed specifically for our carrier users. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers, data scientists, and engineers to design and deliver exceptional products our carriers love

  • Building efficient and reusable UI components and architecting reliable, performant, and scalable mobile solutions

  • Collaborating across teams to promote consistency

  • Following data-driven approaches to conducting experiments and iterating on features

  • Operate as a product-minded engineer, combining mobile expertise with business acumen to shape features that drive measurable impact.

  • Communicating complex ideas effectively and understanding tradeoffs in achieving product goals

  • Investing in the documentation of mobile best practices and coding patterns

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  •  4+ years of experience building mobile and web experiences

  • In-depth knowledge of React Native for iOS and Android

  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (e.g., React, Webpack)

  • Experience with AI tools, LLM integration and code generation models

  • Robust design and UX/product sensibilities

  • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to communicate complex ideas effectively

  • Growth mindset with a passion for learning and quickly understanding cross-functional needs is a must

  • Experience with end-to-end feature development including backend/API engineering

  • Interest in the latest trends in mobile development

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and a high school diploma

Preferred:

  • Ability to drive change and motivate teams in a large, distributed organization
  • Logistics or supply chain experience
  • Collaborative, positive working style
  • Experience with data and financial analysis in sales or operations
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or similar languages
  • Strong, flexible communication skills with the ability to present, influence, and consult across all levels
  • Able to make data‑driven recommendations, clearly explain analysis, and handle stakeholder questions or pushback
  • Experience turning data into clear, actionable business insights
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that challenges the status quo and seizes opportunities
  • Highly organized with strong self and project management skills
