Our internship program provides you with the opportunity to make an impact at a Fortune 200 global company. You’ll help some of the world’s most diverse and prominent companies move their products around the world. The supply chain industry is evolving faster than ever before, and you’ll be in the middle of the action, gaining hands-on business experience. This paid internship will begin with an interactive onboarding program where you’ll learn more about C.H. Robinson, our technology, processes, and culture. Interns are integrated into our teams, giving you the opportunity to learn global freight services and help shippers and carriers optimize supply chains.

In this role, you will engage with peers on-site four days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. With the flexibility for remote work one day a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes by engaging with internal employees to understand workflows and identify inefficiencies.
  • Evaluate data trends and key performance metrics to provide actionable insights for improving operations.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
  • Translate data into a compelling narrative for executive-level presentations and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend process improvements and technology solutions.
  • Support solution design by applying analytical tools to solve business problems, not just technical challenges.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by combining process knowledge with data-driven recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team environment, while also delivering independent results
  • Relationship building skills
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • High proficiency in excel
  • Proficient in Power BI or Tableau

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Basic understanding of SQL or databases
  • Undergraduate education at a Junior level (pursuing a degree in finance, computer science, supply chain, economics, information systems, engineering, computer science or a related major)

Compensation Range

$15 - $30 per hour

The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
