In return for your tail-wagging dedication, we offer a competitive salary and the opportunity to be part of a high-performing, people-first environment.<br><br>We offer a competitive wage of £12.84 per hour plus a shift premium of 20% (<strong>£15.41</strong> per hour) base salary is £27,468, with 20% (<strong>£32,961</strong>)</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>👋&nbsp; <strong>A bit about the role</strong></p> <p data-start="693" data-end="723">As a Class 1 (HGV) Driver, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li> <ul data-start="725" data-end="1594"> <li data-start="837" data-end="945"> <p data-start="839" data-end="945">Carry out on-site shunting, ensuring trailers are positioned correctly for loading, unloading and storage.</p> </li> <li>Safely move Class 1 vehicles and trailers between Rudie’s Kitchen, Aces Pantry and the adjoining public road.</li> <li data-start="946" data-end="1038"> <p data-start="948" data-end="1038">Complete pre-start checks on vehicles and trailers, identifying and reporting any defects.</p> </li> <li data-start="1039" data-end="1108"> <p data-start="1041" data-end="1108">Follow all safety procedures and wear the correct PPE at all times.</p> </li> <li data-start="1109" data-end="1209"> <p data-start="1111" data-end="1209">Coordinate with Warehouse and Production teams to ensure smooth trailer flow and minimal downtime.</p> </li> <li data-start="1210" data-end="1309"> <p data-start="1212" data-end="1309">Conduct basic quality and safety checks to ensure compliance with site and legislative standards.</p> </li> <li data-start="1310" data-end="1419"> <p data-start="1312" data-end="1419">Assist with stock movements and support site logistics where needed to keep operations running efficiently.</p> </li> <li data-start="1420" data-end="1507"> <p data-start="1422" data-end="1507">Maintain high standards of housekeeping and operate with a “clean as you go” mindset.</p> </li> <li data-start="1508" data-end="1594"> <p data-start="1510" data-end="1594">Occasionally attend daily review meetings and contribute to performance discussions.</p> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>📣 A bit about us</strong></p> <p>At Butternut, our mission is to deliver health and happiness to dogs and their humans all over the world. In order to do just that, we need a hard-working team. And we need quite a big kitchen too. Which is precisely why we have built one.</p> <p>Located in Doncaster, Rudie's Kitchen is where our Butternut meals (we currently have 12 recipes) will be gently cooked, using human-quality ingredients. Rudie's is also where we will be packaging our meals and boxing them for our customers all over the UK. We are a close nit team, with a that family feel, looking to welcome more like minded people to our lovely team and keep work life fun and enjoyable.</p> <p><strong>We are pleased to say, this is a full-time permanent contract, you will be working a rolling average of 41 hours per week working on a shift rotation with a mixture of days / nights and some weekend working.
