Our beautiful Gateshead QE nursery has an Ofsted rating of Good, and has a capacity of 108. We have a dedicated team that has the children at the centre of everything that we do.Bus service linking to city centre Newcastle and close links to A1 and Durham, just a 2-minute walk from the nearest stop, a 5-minute walk from the Low Fell town centre, and located on a main road with great transport links. Complimentary onsite parking provided.

What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:
- Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
- Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
- Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.
Ideal Candidate:
- Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
- Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
