Burson is seeking a talented Senior Account Executive to join our vibrant Government & Public Affairs team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping narratives and delivering impactful results for our diverse portfolio of UAE Government clients. 




What you'll do:



  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering high-quality client service and day-to-day account management.

  • Create and edit high-quality content including press releases, media Q&As, briefing documents, reports, and presentations.

  • Build and maintain strong media relationships, pitch stories, and identify relevant news hooks aligned with client KPIs.

  • Support media monitoring, monthly and quarterly reporting, and provide analysis and insights on coverage performance.

  • Prepare weekly status reports and support with client counsel and strategic support.

  • Contribute to new business research, ideas, and development of pitch decks.

  • Stay informed on AI tools and best practices, applying them responsibly in line with WPP guidelines.


 


Experience that contributes to success:



  • Proven experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations, supporting UAE or GCC government client accounts and campaigns.

  • Existing media contacts and demonstrated experience pitching to journalists within the UAE and GCC.

  • Excellent organisation, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in monitoring, reporting, and performance evaluation of campaigns.

  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.

  • A proactive, ambitious team player with the ability to work autonomously and lead by example.

  • Bi-lingual Arabic & English highly desired.
