We are looking for an intern to join our Healthcare Team in Brussels for a 6-month paid internship, starting immediately (January 2026).
We advise our clients on their public affairs and corporate communications programs at the global, pan-European, and EU levels and help them navigate EU legislative and regulatory developments through effective advocacy, public relations, thought leadership and stakeholder engagement. Our clients are drawn from many sectors including pharma & consumer health.
Over the course of six months, the successful candidate will gain insight into the workings of a global communications agency and develop the skills necessary to pursue a career in consultancy.


What you'll do:


Research & monitor policy developments on healthcare issues at EU, national and international levels.
Support client work and the implementation of public affairs and communications strategies, including:



  • Mapping relevant stakeholders

  • Preparing technical briefings

  • Attending and organising events and conferences

  • Writing meetings/events’ reports

  • Contributing to new business proposals


Experience that contributes to success:



  • Knowledge and a keen interest in EU policy and decision-making processes, with a focus on healthcare issues.

  • Further university education in European studies with if possible, a focus on health sciences.

  • Previous public affairs professional experience in an EU institution, regulatory organisation, trade association, advocacy organisation (NGO), company or consultancy is desirable (but not essential).

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Proactive, resourceful and a team player.

  • Critical thinking with a desire to learn in a fast-paced and international environment.

  • Familiarity with digital and social campaigns/tools is an advantage.

  • Excellent spoken and written English – other European languages would be an asset


What we offer:



  • A fixed term duration contract of 6 months under Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle - CIP contract;

  • A stimulating work experience within an EU affairs office and multicultural environment (+20 nationalities);

  • Training opportunities

  • Knowledge and a keen interest in EU policy and decision-making processes, with a focus on healthcare issues.

  • Further university education in European studies with if possible, a focus on health sciences.

  • the CIP convention excludes any internships for which the intern receives academic credit or undertakes as a part of a degree.

  • in order to be eligible for a CIP convention, the candidate must have the right to work full-time in Belgium.
