The job incumbent is responsible for execution/inspection in QA/QC field of Civil Projects (Infrastructure / Commercial Structures).
The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy
ØMajor Responsibilities
HSE Engineer Shall have Experience in Solar power plants
Ensure Implementation of QHSE Policy by its personnel and the EPC Contractor/Sub- Contractor Personnel
To conduct and manage the EPC Contractor/Subcontractors to take appropriate steps for compliance with a construction site specific health & safety Management plan.
Deliver training programmes in the areas of Safety Induction, Hot Work Safety, Safety Work in Confined Spaces, Safety while working at height, Safety in Excavation and Civil Works, Safety in Material Handling, Crane/Hydra Safety, Defensive Driving/Driving Safety, Scaffolding Safety, Safety Work Practices and its awareness, Safety training to Contractor Workers and other related subjects.
Assist in resolving QHSE, site management including fire safety plan, housekeeping, labour and working condition, Environment management plan etc related issues and same has to be implemented and need to be submit the reports on timely manner to Client without fail.
To maintain quality & HSE checklist on daily/work completion basis & submit it to the site manager by the end of each week.
ØRoles & Responsibilities for HSE
Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects.
ØCriteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
Review quality and effectiveness of Training provided to the client sites.
The course material and the presentation for safety training to be made in English, Telugu or Hindi as per Client requirement.
Shall display suitable and relevant safety films, safety training videos and animations on incident case studies, safety procedures pertaining to the topic being covered in the training along with the training presentation to make the program interactive and effective.
Preparation and customisation of training modules.
ØQualification and Experience
Any degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience with relevant industry.
