Requirements:
- Education - Minimum Secondary School.
- Experience - At least 1 year in a relevant technical discipline.
- Language - Fluent in English.
- Computer - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Absenteeism - In the event TLS Inspector is absent or position left vacant, another TLS Inspector will be designated to cover for his duties as assigned by the TLS Manager.
- Others:
- Good communication and writing skills.
- A team player.
- Strong ethics and integrity.
- Strong knowledge in Intermodal Equipment market and willing to share knowledge.
- General working knowledge with hazardous chemicals and MSDS.
- Work requires local and overseas travel and may require evening and weekend work.
- Work requires willingness to work at flexible schedule.
- BV Singapore QHSE induction.
- Comply with applicable customer, legal and other requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection and/or certification of Intermodal equipments, mainly dry freights, reefers, tanks and intermediate bulk containers during in-service and/or stoppage within but not limited to Singapore.
- Attending scheduled inspection requests promptly.
- Submit reports, certificates, photographs, timesheet (if required) and other applicable documents in an agreed format or BV reporting format within 2 working days to BV office.
- To maintain all issued tools/guides in good operating condition.
- To provide excellent quality services to client in order to ensure business sustainability.
- To adhere to BV Code of Ethics at all time.
