Remote Clinical / Counselling Psychologist

HCPC registered

UK based only – Remote working 

Starting salary: £63,100 per annum (pro rata)  

Permanent 

Full time and Part Time hours

Shift requirements: Please see below for an example of the options you can choose from as your set shift pattern. Minimum 3x days per week and 1 late per week) based on 40 hours per week.

  • 9am-5:30pm

  • 9:30am-6pm

  • 10am-6:30pm

  • 10:30-7pm

  • 11am-7:30pm

  • 11:30am-8pm (Late session)

We make health happen: 

You will either support referrals from our UK insurance business, providing 1-2-1 clinical practice to clients across a range of increasingly complex mental health conditions, or you will work directly with one of our corporate clients to support mental health awareness and referrals for their employees. 

By working remotely, you will be a first point of clinical contact for people with potential mental health issues and concerns, and you will provide a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service across agreed sectors of care via MS Teams. 

You’ll help us make health happen by: 

  • Providing a high quality, effective and safe mental health and wellbeing service to clients  using evidence-based practice 

  • Contributing to health promotion activities and initiatives for the client’s workforce 

  • Delivering comprehensive assessment and formulation that drives an evidence-based intervention for clients. 

  • Ensuring an assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the eligible clients. 

  • Working at an individual level with differing models of service delivery including face-to-face, telephone or video consultation depending on clients preference and need 

  • To adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and work collaboratively with the Clinical Leads and wider therapy team. 

  • To adhere to sessional limits depending on the client’s monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical insurance, whilst working towards therapeutic recovery goals.  

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: 

  • Professional doctorate qualification in Clinical Psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society. Registered as a qualified Chartered Clinical Psychologist. 

  • At least 1 year’s post-qualification clinical experience.

  • Extensive post-qualification clinical experience from a clinical psychology practice with diverse and varied clinical experience to draw upon. 

  • Experience of clinical management 

  • Ability to present to groups and deliver training workshops preferred. 

In addition, you will be a team player, have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously and have some understanding or prior experience of working in a corporate business environment.
