As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be a central part of the project organisation on site. While external parties perform much of the operational commissioning, you will be responsible for coordinating, following up, and verifying that all testing and commissioning activities are executed in line with requirements, test criteria, and applicable standards. You will be involved from the construction phase onwards to ensure continuity and a smooth, integrated transition into commissioning, avoiding handover gaps between project phases.

Plan, coordinate, and follow up commissioning activities on site
Ensure that documentation, requirements, and test criteria are properly met and verified
Coordinate and oversee FAT, SAT, and integrated system testing performed by contractors and vendors
Follow up and help resolve technical issues, particularly related to electrical systems and automation
Work closely with Construction, Engineering, Document Control, and Operations teams
Actively participate in site meetings and ensure commissioning is well represented throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and NEK requirements
Contribute to structured and complete handover to operations, including test records and system documentation

Electrical technical background, preferably with a trade certificate, or a bachelor’s degree combined with relevant hands-on experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years working specifically with commissioning in complex projects
Solid hands-on site experience from complex projects
Good knowledge of NEK standards and HSE requirements
Experience with or solid understanding of automation and system interfaces
Strong ability to work systematically with documentation, test criteria, and quality assurance
Proven experience from industrial or other critical infrastructure projects; experience from data centres is an advantage
Good communication skills in English
Some travel may be required
