The Opportunity
BuildWitt is hiring a Videographer to help our team capture the best of the Dirt World. This is a chance to work with a high-caliber team, traveling the US and abroad, for a mission that matters.
Location: This is a hybrid role based in Nashville, TN.
What You’ll Do:
Pre-Production & Planning
- Actively participate in pre-production, creating shotlists and prepping for shoots
- Contribute creative ideas for how to best capture content
Production / In-Field
- Travel to construction and mining sites to shoot video
- Operate handheld cameras, gimbals, or drones as needed
- Set up and manage lighting, audio, and supporting gear
- Bring a proactive, positive presence to shoots
- Represent BuildWitt professionally on sites and with partners
Post-Production & Workflow
- Maintain and organize gear, media, and storage
- Help ensure gear readiness day-to-day
- Assist with editing/post-production between trips as needed
Travel
Travel varies by production schedule and season. Field shoots occur across the U.S. and abroad at active construction, earthwork, and mining sites. There are ebbs and flows to the schedule but expect to be on the road 2-3 weeks a month.

BuildWitt was founded in 2018 with a simple but ambitious mission: make the Dirt World a better place. Aaron Witt was just a kid who loved construction and got a job laying pipe when he was 18.
It was easy to see that some of the most interesting and talented people worked in the industry, so he started telling their stories. And it caught on. But what started with a kid and a camera has become so much more — an opportunity to push the industry we know and love forward to create an even #BetterDirtWorld.

What you'll do
- The Videographer will participate in pre-production planning, travel to various sites for video shoots, and assist with post-production tasks. They will be responsible for operating cameras and managing equipment while representing the company professionally.
