We are adding a Credit and Collections Analyst to our Team!
This is an onsite position located at 71 Maple St Mansfield, MA 02048. Come work with us!
The ideal candidate will complete activities within the Credit and Collections department across assigned locations, including implementation of company’s policies and procedures related to credit and collection activities; ensures effective handling of collection of delinquent accounts and investigating the credit risks of customers and suppliers.
- Responsible for the implementation and adherence to company credit/collection policies, practices and procedures across one or multiple geographic areas.
- Recommends and/or approves decisions regarding adjustments to customer accounts, and referral of overdue accounts for legal action. Coordinates area collection decisions with management teams and sales departments.
- Manages delinquent customer receivables, negotiates special customer payment plans and participates in development of financial packages.
- Monitors credit activity including monthly review of large accounts, location compliance with credit policies and procedures, lien laws and sales tax laws.
- Works closely with Credit Management and field leadership to resolve difficult collection cases.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and at least two (2) years credit collections experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB SEEKERS: Beware of job scams and fake employment offers.
It has come to our attention that fraudulent employment offers have been sent to job seekers by people who claim to be employees of Builders FirstSource (BFS). These scammers use a variety of tactics to engage with job seekers to commit identity theft, financial fraud, and other crimes. They can be very convincing, going as far as to steal the profile pictures of our actual recruiters from their LinkedIn profiles and using email addresses that contain words such as ‘@BuildersFirstSource’ or '@BFS.' The scammers will typically ask you to send money at some point (for equipment, training, or a uniform, etc.). A LEGITIMATE BFS RECRUITER OR HIRING MANAGER WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO SEND US MONEY. Also, you will never receive a job offer from us if we have not verbally interviewed you. If you ever receive an unsolicited or suspicious communication that demands any form of payment in connection with employment at BFS, you should consider it to be fraudulent and cease all contact with the sender.
