<p><strong>National Account Manager- Australia</strong></p> <p><strong>Department:</strong> Retail</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote (Melbourne or Sydney)</p> <p><strong>Job Status:</strong> Full-Time/Exempt</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p> <p>Bubble Skincare is seeking an experienced sales executive with deep knowledge of the Australian retail landscape to join us as National Account Manager. You will oversee Priceline and future retail distribution in the region, leveraging your expertise in sales planning and account management to drive both short- and medium-term strategies. In this role, you will lead planning for core and new product launches, sets, promotional programs, and trade marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners- including operations, retail marketing, education, and finance to shape business plans, define account vision, and establish growth building blocks.</p> <p>Your focus will be on delivering a sustainable growth plan for Bubble in Australia, managing both retail sales and net sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will collaborate in-region with Bubble’s Strategic Consultant for Australia and the Education Coordinator for Australia to ensure seamless execution.</p> <p>This is a remote position based in Melbourne or Sydney, with some flexibility required to work across time zones with our global teams in the US and UK.</p> <p>Primary Evaluation Metrics, Retail relationship management, retail Sales, net sales, trade/shopper marketing, strategic planning, forecasting, supporting retailer P&amp;Ls</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Strategic Planning:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of retailer and market nuances to help set overall account plan that guides priorities, marketing campaigns, assortment, merchandising, promos/GWP/sets, events and all other parts of the business. Deep understanding of competitors and overall landscape.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead the initiative to work with marketing to develop full calendar of tailored activities for retailer and retailer.com, leveraging overall brand category and marketing objectives and maximizes resources between B&amp;M and .com</li> <li>Provides guidance to sales planning and demand planning to negotiate seasonal stock &amp; sales plans. Works hands on with internal and retailer teams to drive orders and hit net sales targets.</li> <li>Collaboration across retail marketing, education, PR, community and creative to create a seamless omni-channel experience.</li> <li>Leads weekly sales analysis and feeds to senior leadership weekly. Provide in depth findings and recommendations for next steps to deliver growth.</li> </ul> <p>Retail Account Management:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for key retailer partners, building and maintaining strong relationships across buying, marketing, and operations teams. Lead negotiations, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on joint business objectives to drive mutual growth.</li> <li>Ensure all retailer requirements are met, including purchase order management, data reporting, pricing updates, and product set-up on retailer portals. Maintain full compliance with retailer guidelines to prevent chargebacks, delays, or missed opportunities.</li> <li>Execute the end to end process of line reviews. This includes but is not limited to the pitch meeting, shelf modular planning, admin on retailer portal/forms, set up, and NPD forecasting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with the brand product team to accurately and effectively build product pitch decks to unlock secondary space opportunities and expansion.</li> <li>Collaborate with leadership to build strategic decks for market meetings; comfortable in leading meetings and presenting information and strategy for business advantage.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Forecasting &amp; stock/sales plans:</p> <ul> <li>Provide plans and forecasts for seasonal and basic stock and sales plans.</li> <li>Oversee the monthly feedback process for stock and sales plans, offering guidance to retail ops and developing high-level monthly re-projections and investment strategies by SKU/category.</li> <li>Support annual and rolling monthly forecast process in conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support in the management of overall gross profit margin, providing commentary and analytics, including calling out risks or opportunities in improving account profitability. Experience in P&amp;L management.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Marketing &amp; Regional Support:</p> <ul> <li>Partner with marketing to ensure strong visual presence in stores, in market and on retailer.com (e.g., onsite exposure, offline exposure, mailers, email); spend for account; identifying opportunities to maximize marketing ROI and targeting efficiencies.</li> <li>Partner with Social/Digital teams to deliver a support plan in collaboration with the retail partner. Maximizing brand and retailer exposure across various touchpoints.&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with our in region PR lead, supporting on product focus strategies in line with retailer activations and knowledge of the Australian market landscape.&nbsp;</li> <li>Although this is not a core function of this role, provide key support on ideating and executing Australian specific marketing initiatives (ie. events, partnerships)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years in Account Management or Category Management (brand or vendor side).</li> <li>Experience working directly with major Australian retailers is essential (preference for Beauty &amp; Personal Care but open to other categories)</li> <li>Passion in beauty &amp; personal care including the beauty landscape in Australia.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills (ie Pivot Table, VLookup, business math like growth and margin); ability to interpret data and create actionable insights.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong presentation skills and ability to present strategy and ideas to key stakeholders.&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Ability to work independently with global teams that sit outside of market.</li> </ul>
