Job Title: Business Development Executive – Internal & Supplier Audit

Location: Netherlands, Germany, or Sweden
Work Model: Remote, with regular travel for client meetings and company events

Purpose of the role:

As a Business Development Executive specialised in Internal & Supplier Audit Solutions, you will be focusing primarily on new clients. Your primary duties include understanding the clients’ needs, identifying new sales opportunities, building bids & tenders, and conducting presentations to clients. More specifically, you will manage inbound leads from the marketing department to develop a solid pipeline and generate your own leads for the Internal & Supplier Audit team.


In Internal & Supplier Assurance, you will be working with major clients on solving some of their most impactful internal and supply chain challenges. Some examples of services we deliver are:

  • Improving Quality and Social Performance: Crafting tailored solutions that enhance operational quality and social impact, aligning with global standards and best practices.

  • De-risking Supply Chains: Implementing strategies that safeguard supply chains, ensuring resilience, compliance, and sustainability at every level.

  • Building Digital Trust: Guiding organizations through the complexities of digital transformation with a focus on security, compliance, and transparency.

    Customer Focus

  • Builds trusted relationships with customers and acts as a credible point of contact.

  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of customer markets and business needs.

  • Communicates effectively with customers, stakeholders, and senior audiences.

  • Delivers work in line with quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

     Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Achieve/exceed the Internal & Supplier Audit target.

  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads and close deals.

  • Follow up on existing clients with queries and maintain relationships.

  • Prepare Account Plans for target accounts.

  • Map out existing and new clients and expand BSI’s market position within those clients.

  • Visit accounts face-to-face or virtually with Teams to advise/help them.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across different departments and act as one BSI.

Candidate Required Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Degree level, equivalent education, or proven sectoral sales experience.

  • Proficiency in English is compulsory. Dutch, German, or Swedish is considered a plus.

  • Experience in Business-to-Business sales.

  • Experience in working with targets.

  • Experience in field sales.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Able to communicate complex technical issues.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
