Position: Associate Consultant (#6389)
Location: 2150 North 1st Street, Suite 450, San Jose, CA 95131
Duties: Perform industrial hygiene sampling for physical, chemical, and biological agents including but not limited to indoor air quality, asbestos, silica, lead, heat, and noise to gather evidence for analysis. Conduct inspections and audits at client sites to identify and quantify hazards or risks. Assist in the preparation of field reports and data summaries, applying quantitative analysis to the understanding of environment and health safety (EHS) issues to develop recommendations and identify patterns. Evaluate current controls and processes to make recommendations for improvements. Develop and sustain client relationships to generate leads and revenue. May lead on small projects in terms of project management and client stewardship.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field and 2 years of experience. Experience must include: conducting ergonomic risk assessments using risk analysis tools and biomechanical analysis; delivery of employee training and coaching on safe work practices; familiarity with online ergonomic risk assessment tools and risk management software applications; ability to design and implement ergonomics programs for large organizations; technical report writing and documentation for diverse stakeholders; client-facing consulting and project management. Specific skill experience does not need to be maintained for the full term of required experience. Domestic travel 75% of time for client facing audits and consulting.
Salary: $112,258 - $127,200
